Well, it's only day 5... and WOW we've done so much!  My team, the lake team, has collected data on the temperature, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, chlorophyll amount, dissolved organic carbon and nutrient composition at over 40 depths in Lake Atitlan.  Everyone here has been working so hard; and with enthusiam too!  It's great to see so many people excited about science!  We are doing well, and staying on track to get as much data as possible in order to truly understand the biological and chemical mechanisms of Lake Atitlan, and it's surrounding watershed.  What an amazing journey!
